Eye: Golden with copper highlights.

Nose: A multilayered and fragrant nose. Initial scents of lily of the valley, angelica and pear evolve towards notes of hazelnut and nutmeg.

Palate: The palate is well balanced and rounded, with a very alluring quality. The long aging process delivers delicious tastes of cinnamon and vanilla, subtle nut and raison flavors are also present and nuances of coffee and cocoa make this Cognac feel particularly decadent. A nice long and seductive finish.

Description

Chateau de Beaulon Napoleon

Chateau de Beaulon Napoleon Cognac is a delectable Napoleon blend of eaux-de-vie exclusively from the Fins Bois appellation, each aged for 20 years. The eaux-de-vie is produced using not only the familiar Ugni Blanc grape but also the less common Colombard and Folle Blance grapes. These original grape varieties are delicate and fragile, yet inimitable in their tastes and aromas.

This is a phenomenal and well-balanced Cognac, which unlike many other Napoleons shows no aggressive qualities. It has been aged in small Limousin oak barrels for over 20 years, giving it a seductively mature taste. Napoleon Cognacs must be aged for at least 10 years however Château de Beaulon, like many small producers, creates blends much older than the minimum age required.

Presentation of the bottle:

The bottle is embellished with gold motif surrounding a red and gold Napoleon emblem, the design oozes grandeur.

Awards:

This enchanting Cognac has been recognised with the following awards:

Silver Medal Mondial Shanghai 2006

Trophy of Excellence Citadelle Bordeaux 2006

About Château de Beaulon Cognac

The beautiful façade and setting of the Chateau de Beaulon Cognac estate is a fitting setting for producing fine cognac. The chateau itself dates back to the year 1480, with it entering into the hands of the Beaulon family in 1510. The family name remains the same to this day, although it is now run by the very capable Christian Thomas. Chateau de Beaulon Cognac has always been, and continues to be, created purely from the fruits of a single vineyard, and is recognized around the world as being a highly desirable, artisan produced cognac.
