Description

Bisquit & Dubouché Prestige Cognac: Good Cognac Comes to Those Who Wait…

The Bisquit & Dubouché Cognac Prestige is a Napoleon age delight that offers a stunning balance of flavors with a rich and ample aftertaste that persists on the palate. Winner of a whole host of awards, its “Prestige” title is certainly justified.

The unique combination of complex flavors found in the Bisquit & Dubouché Prestige is thanks to the cellar masters’ secrets, passed down from one generation to the next. The distillation process is much longer than that of other estates, meaning the Cognac produced is smoother with a more generous bouquet of aromas. This expansive depth of flavor has certainly set Bisquit & Dubouché apart from the others, with their long distillation process being implemented by the estate’s founder, Alexandre Bisquit, in 1819.

The domaine not only respects their traditions, history and heritage, but proves that patience really is a virtue, and also results in excellent Cognacs! The Bisquit & Dubouché Cognac house is perhaps most well known as being the favorite brand of Mr Winston Churchill himself. One can truly imagine the former Prime Minister in his study, savoring the spicy scent and aromatic flavors of this Cognac, pairing perfectly with the classic Cuban cigar that he is smoking in his other hand.

This particular Cognac boasts a wonderful array of aromas and flavors on both nose and palate, with dried and candied fruits offset by the sweet tones of honey and spicy licorice and cinnamon. A smooth sipping experience, fruitcake and gingerbread flavors dominate on the palate, sweetened by caramel and tea and balanced by notes of nutmeg and coffee with a subtle hint of oak.

Bisquit & Dubouché Prestige Awards

  • "Outstanding" quality label at the esteemed International Wine and Spirits Competition
  • Gold Medal at the International Spirits Challenge 2017
How to Enjoy:

Such a Cognac represents exceptional value for money, and it's certainly a bottle that will be welcomed at the best of after dinner moments.

Enjoy it neat to truly appreciate its complex layers of flavor, savoring every single sip.

Presentation of the Bottle:

A Cognac like this deserves only the most prestigious of packaging. Its deep red and golden tones offer an elegant setting to this sensory splendor. The most unique aspect of the bottle is certainly its shape, reminiscent of the male torso with its wide shoulders and slim waist.

Perhaps this sleek design is a subtle nod to the estate's 200-year history, a homage to those stunning sculptures and neoclassical masterpieces created in the early 1800s (when Bisquit & Dubouché was founded). This is certainly a display piece, a work of art that pleases all the senses.

About Bisquit and Dubouche Cognac

Founded by Alexandre Bisquit in 1819, the house of Bisquit & Dubouché, with its home at the Château de Lignères by the banks of the Charente River, had a long-standing family tradition until the house was sold to Pernod Ricard in 1966. Said to have been among the favorite Cognacs of Winston Churchill and King George IV, it is popular in the Anglo-Saxon countries and hence was bought by the South African group Distell in 2009.
