Dusse vsop,my first experience.
The nose has a flowery hint with perhaps almonds.Sweet and carries through to the finish. The palate is excellent, nothing overpowering with the nose caring through.
Aftertaste; nothing, very clean, excellent balance, top shelf! Very smooth well worth the price
good exemlar of his category
complex aroma; expressive palate
The best I have tried
Nose of star anise and lavender, licorice and coffee in the mouth. Smooth no strong aftertaste. Presented simply but elegantly.
Very pleasantly surprised.
Happened upon this cognac whilst shopping for wine at my regular vintner. Something about it made me decide to take a chance, as i was in the mood for cognac. Immediately struck by the bouquet, very pleasing. Personally i like my cognac straight. Room temperature. No ice, no chaser. this cognac is absolutely perfect for that. Has a warmth and wonderful flavour. It's slightly sweet with a mix of citrus, floral, and vanilla notes. Not sure what barrels they use but... it works. After taste was very pleasing. Thoroughly Enjoyed after dessert with a cigar.
One warning. It drinks rather well that you could easily polish off several glasses pretty quickly.
I didnt expect this impresion at all.Cognac is nicely presented in beautifull bottle but thats not what make him so special. When i Open the bottle thats was just Like opening door of Heaven, and unforgetable first sip was just Like walking thrue the fields of aromy.Beautifful oaky and vanilla taste is just to die for it.I recomending it afther nice dinner and relaxing time with cigar.
Worthed every single cent.
Became on second my favorite.
