King of Aftertaste
I've always shopped for 180 to 250 euros, which means I've always had fun with these variations of similar flavours.
But when I came across this wine from PainturaudFrères, it felt like it left me in special awe.
I tasted this liquid with my family during the Chinese New Year festival, the Chinese New Year, and opened the bottle and the strong cocoa, smoke and tobacco notes wafted through the air, giving everyone an idea of what this old cognac tasted like.
A sip of the cognac presented aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, almond and leather, with a long lasting finish. I have never really tried a cognac liquid that lasts so long, everyone has always thought oh.
Thanks to the Cognac experts for a pleasant experience!
Experience in learning
I've always loved learning about the culture of Cognac wineries, and of course Claude Thorin is no exception. When I saw this bottle of Claude Thorin Héritage on the Cognac Expert website, I didn't hesitate to buy it and try it.
I tasted this wine with my family on a Chinese festival, the Chinese New Year.
Upon opening the bottle, the aromas of fruit pear, orange, dried fruit, tobacco, oak and spices continued to spill out.
A fun sip with different layers of candied fruit and cream, leather and barrel notes, with a long, mellow and lubricious finish, a nice touch.
Thanks to the cognac -expert for a happy evening!
Frapin Multimillésime No 7 cognac
About a few years ago, I tried Frapin VIP XO. When I tasted it, the aroma of frapin was complex and delicate, the aftertaste was very long, and the Cognac flavor was very good. It's unforgettable.
When I found out that Cognac Expert had such a good price, I couldn't wait to buy Frapin Multimillésime No 7 cognac
Bache Gabrielsen Hors d'Age Grande Champagne Cognac
I didn't expect to buy Bache Gabrielsen Hors d'Age Grande champagne cognac at such a price. Amazingly, it's packed in beautiful wooden boxes, with Christian Bache Gabrielsen's autograph. It's so affordable.
Among the 500 bottles of Heritage limited edition, I got the 333rd bottle. I'm really lucky! It's an interesting thing. Thank you very much!

Chateau Montifaud Vintage 1978 Helios Cognac
After I bought this bottle of Chateau montaud Vintage 1978 cognac，In cognac- expert.com It's out of stock. I'm very lucky that I can have the last stock of this bottle. It's one of my treasures. I'm reluctant to drink it.
Gourry de Chadeville Tres Vieux Cognac
This is my second purchase of Gourry de chadeville Tres Vieux cognac. It tastes mellow, with the smell of leather and wood. It's fascinating！
Nice artisan cognac, on the clean and lean side of things
This is a really nice cognac, the nose is quite floral, colour medium, and a lightweight body. If I was to draw a comparison, I'd say Dudognon... another lean and clean approach, without boise or caramel... a hands-off approach to cognac making. While only 10 years old, there's a lot of complexity here, multi-layered on the nose more than the tongue. It's quite punchy in terms of acid, so more of an after meal digestif rather than something to pair with a cigar. While my personal taste leans towards the fuller body and older cogancs, this is an excellent addition to my collection.
Fabulous, slightly more rustic alternative to Tesseron
I was looking for an alternative to Tesseron 53, which has doubled (at least) in price over the past decade or so. This was recommended on a few forums for similar reasons. Really big body, carries many of the caramel, nut, and spice flavours of Tesseron... albeit with a touch less refinement in texture and perhaps slightly less 'brightness' on the tongue. I've read that Navarre doesn't use boise or caramel, which is hugely surprising as the colour is quite dark and the style is one I associate with that approach. For the price, this is an absolute bargain and I'd recommend for both those seeing this style and those looking to create a varied cognac collection.
A wonderful cognac
I first came upon the Meukow cognac by accident. We were in Gibraltar and I saw this beautiful bottle with a black panther on it. Not the best way to buy a cognac I know but it was a great find. A few years ago we were staying near cognac and arranged a visit to the distillery. We had a in-depth guide around and meal in the restaurant plus a tasting of several of their cognacs after.(came away with the VS and the XO. )The Arima is up there with the other 2. For me the smell is old cognac ,sounds odd but an aged cognac smells like apples and leather with a hint of spice, to me. Lovely taste again with that hint of Christmas cake, with subtle spices. Smooth finish which leaves you wanting more. Not one for sharing ????.
I would love to taste their Extra , maybe next time.
