George Roullet presents its distinguished XO expression, a non-vintage Cognac from a house with roots tracing back to the 18th century. The Roullet family began its winemaking tradition in the Cognac region as early as 1772, with Paul Frederic Roullet founding the house in 1780. This Cognac is crafted to deliver a balanced and deep tasting experience, reflecting centuries of accumulated knowledge and refinement.
This exceptional Cognac undergoes a significant maturation period, spending approximately 23 years in Limousin oak barrels. This extended aging contributes to its full-bodied character and balanced profile. The Roullet house maintains vineyards across several significant crus, including Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, and Fins Bois. The George Roullet XO is often associated with the Grande Champagne region, recognized as a Premier Cru de Cognac.
Each bottle of George Roullet XO contains 750 ml of this fine Cognac. It is bottled at an alcohol by volume of 40%.
To best appreciate its character, George Roullet XO is recommended served neat in a tulip glass. It can also be enjoyed with a single large ice cube. This Cognac is suited for moments of quiet contemplation or as a sophisticated after-dinner drink.
