Apraksts
Maison Surrenne Collector's Series 1875 Heritage Cognac
Maison Surrenne draws on a history dating back to the 1800s, a period when its eaux-de-vie were supplied to other prominent Cognac houses. This family-run enterprise, in collaboration with Craft Distillers and Richard Braastad, developed the Maison Surrenne brand. Operating four distilleries and eight cellars in Jarnac, on the banks of the Charente River, Maison Surrenne focuses on producing distinct Cognacs that reflect their origins. The Collector's Series 1875 represents a distinctive offering that embodies this philosophy.
This particular expression, the Collector's Series 1875 Heritage, is a Grande Champagne Cognac, sourced from a region renowned for its particular soil and climate. Cognac from Maison Surrenne is created using traditional methods and primarily from Ugni Blanc grapes. The producer emphasizes minimal blending, often bottling Cognacs that are unblended and unfiltered. Production avoids the use of artificial coloring, caramel, or boisé, allowing the natural character of the eaux-de-vie to be expressed. The Cognac is aged in oak casks, a fundamental step in its development.
The Maison Surrenne Collector's Series 1875 Heritage Cognac is presented in a 750ml bottle. As a non-vintage expression, it represents a careful selection from Maison Surrenne's cellars. This Cognac is bottled at 40% ABV.
