Apraksts
Remi Landier Cognac Napoleon (700ml)
The Remi Landier house, established in 1973 by Remi Landier and his son Jean-Yves, draws its origins from Julien Girard's vineyards planted in 1890. Situated in the Fins Bois cru, the family has a long history as distillers, producing exceptional eaux-de-vie. Today, Géraldine Landier, representing the fifth generation, continues this tradition, offering a range of carefully crafted Cognacs.
This Napoleon expression is a blend of eaux-de-vie sourced from the Fins Bois and Petite Champagne regions. The terroir of Fins Bois, characterized by its south-facing slopes, is ideal for cultivating Ugni Blanc grapes, which are distilled in traditional copper stills. The eaux-de-vie for this Napoleon Cognac are aged for over nine years in French oak barrels, with the unusual practice of spending alternate years in new and old wood, allowing for a nuanced development of character. While a Napoleon Cognac legally requires a minimum of six years of aging for its youngest component, this expression exceeds that requirement.
This bottle contains 700ml of Remi Landier Cognac Napoleon, presented at an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 40%.
How to drink
Remi Landier Cognac Napoleon is well-suited for enjoyment neat or with a small amount of water. It can also be paired thoughtfully with dark chocolate, various nuts, or a fine cigar, making it a fitting choice for reflective moments or special gatherings.
