Meukow Amaretto Cognac Liqueur
After updating and reviving an old recipe that was created in the early 20th century, this fine Cognac house present the Meukow Amaretto Cognac. This one of a kind bottling is a subtle blend of Cognac and almond brandy to give it that irresistible amaretto taste.
Bottled in the trademark puma bottle, this will make a fabulous gift, but also a wonderful addition to many different cocktails. The Master Blender is Anne Sarteux, and has been selecting the finest eaux-de-vie for delicate assemblages since 2007. She continues to demonstrate centuries-old savoir-faire in her practice.
After double distillation of the wine, the Cellar Master ages eaux-de-vie for at least two years and selects from a range of different terroirs. She favors those from the Fine Champagne, Bons Bois, Fins Bois and Borderies for her blends.

About Meukow Cognac
As the name suggests, Cognac Meukow is one of the few Russian Cognac brands in the Charente region. In 1862 two brothers were sent over to France to supply the Tsar with Cognac and decided to start their own Cognac distillery.
The brand has become known as the “jaguar liquor”, or the “panther liquor”, thanks to its distinctive bottle design. The big cat in question is in fact a puma, and today, with its famous logo, ranks among the most well-known Cognac brands in the world. Its qualities are strength, elegance, sensuality and exotism, the character traits of the puma.
The distillery is housed in Matha in the Charente Maritime, and are particularly celebrated for their VS Cognac, Vanilla Cognac liqueur and 90-Proof Liquor among many others.
