Description

Vallein Tercinier Brut de Fût 1998 Single Cask Cognac

Vallein Tercinier Brut de Fût 1998 Single Cask Cognac is a beautifully sweet and complex limited edition Cognac of the vintage year 1998. Made up of some of the best eaux-de-vie produced in the Cognac region, a Petite Champagne Cognac that spent decades aging in a French oak cask. This vintage jewel was then finally bottled as an exclusive limited release. With only 414 bottles produced, it is an exclusive Cognac that should be cherished throughout each tasting. A connoisseur's dream, Brut de Fut 1998 serves as the perfect gift for someone who holds significance to this vintage year in particular or simply for a lover of vintage Petite Champagne Cognac.

The Vallein Tercinier Cognac house has been operating since 1850 and has amassed five generations' worth of knowledge surrounding fine-tuned Cognac production. Located in the Saintonge region, this brand now has an extensive collection of Cognacs that shines a spotlight on the family's impressive cellar of eaux-de-vie.

Presentation of the bottle

Vallein Tercinier Brut de Fût 1998 Single Cask Cognac arrives in a classic bottle, with the brand's gold embellished logo stamped on the front of the labelling, presenting a simple cream backdrop for the logo and product details. Presentation is essential for this family of Cognac makers, and the elegant design work displayed in both the bottle itself and the accompanying gift box reflects the esteemed craftsmanship that goes into making good Cognac. So you'll be sure to want to put this in place for all to see.

How to enjoy

This vintage Cognac is best sipped neat at room temperature. Add a few ice cubes to the glass if you're a more adventurous Cognac drinker, as this will alter the tasting experience ever so slightly. Enjoy as the complex array of aromas evolves throughout the tasting, one sip at a time. Pair with a fine cigar to take the tasting up a level.

About Vallein Tercinier Cognac

With over 500 years of history, the artisan house of Vallein Tercinier is one that deserves the attention of all Cognac lovers – from those new to eaux-de-vie to the connoisseur. This brother and sister team bring an expertise to craft Cognac that's just aching to be discovered.

Many of their Cognac's have been awarded top class awards in many industry competitions, and this has meant a growing awareness of their products in some quarters. But, as with the aging process of Cognac, such a small craft brand is often lost amongst the noise razzmatazz of the 'big boys'. And that really is a crime, because as many esteemed connoiseurs are finding out, the offerings of Vallein Tercinier are of superb quality, unique, and once you've discovered them, will become a 'must have' brand to always have in your drinks cabinet.

Catherine and Louis are very proud to have stepped into the shoes of their many ancestors. And as is in keeping with family tradition, the've continued to move the company forward, whilst remaining true to the pure art of Cognac production. They've adapted the facilities to take full advantage of modern technology, and continue to produce some very special Cognacs indeed.
