Description
Through the Grapevine Lot 94 – Vallein Tercinier Fins Bois Cognac
The Through the Grapevine Lot 94 by Vallein Tercinier is a single-cask Cognac from the Fins Bois cru, bottled at 48.3% ABV. This expression highlights the distinctive character of the Fins Bois terroir, known for its clay, limestone, and sandy soils that yield rich and aromatic eaux-de-vie. Crafted at the family-run Domaine des Forges in Chermignac, this release captures more than two centuries of Vallein Tercinier tradition and expertise.
Founded in 1850, the Vallein Tercinier house has seen six generations of distillers follow in the footsteps of its founder, Georges Vallein. Today, Catherine and Louis Tercinier continue to distill wines from their own vineyards and bottle rare single-cask releases for Cognac enthusiasts around the world. The Lot 94 expression, selected for the Through the Grapevine collection, combines freshness, depth, and a multifaceted aromatic profile that perfectly represents the Fins Bois terroir.
On the nose, floral and fruity notes intertwine with cocoa, spice, and a touch of incense. The palate is vivid and textural, showing honeyed richness balanced by citrus, ginger, and saline minerality. The finish is long and evolving, revealing nuances of prune, coffee, and rose petal, with rancio and oriental hints that linger beautifully. A remarkable Cognac that balances elegance and concentration.

About Pasquet Cognac
Certified organic Cognac house Pasquet perfectly strikes the balance between the warmth of family tradition and innovative savoir-faire. In order to revive a plot of vines during the 1990s, the Pasquet family reached deep into their ancestral history to rediscover its organic farming methods. It was here that they found a beautiful equilibrium not only in the ecosystem of their vines, but also in the Cognacs themselves. Since being awarded ‘Agriculture Biologique’ status in 1998, they haven’t looked back, continuing to craft small-batch Cognacs that epitomize natural beauty and balance. With versatile ranges such as ‘L’Organic’ and ‘Esprit de la Famille,’ the Pasquet family ensures that every step of production respects the environment, resulting in a very special collection of Cognacs.
