Description

Remy Martin L’Étape Cognac: Committed Women and Men

L’Étape is a unique Cognac Fine Champagne that reflects the personality of everyone involved in its creation. Created in collaboration with 19 winegrowers, each of which is deeply committed to sustainable agriculture, L’étape embodies an active step towards the preservation of the Grande and Petite Champagne terroirs and a collective commitment to Sustainable Exception. Made up of 14 eaux-de-vie rigorously selected by the Remi Martin Cellar Master: Baptiste Loiseau, L’Étape is a Cognac that cannot be reproduced identically yet paves the way to a new creative process within the house of Remy Martin.

From the vine to the cycle of the seasons, the climate, the environment, and the way this ecosystem is preserved for future generations - for the creators that worked on this product each and every step is brought with enthusiasm, passion and above all humility to this creation.

Rémy Martin L’Étape epitomizes the ongoing commitment of the House and its partners, the effort, step by step, to constantly improve its practices.

“This Project is representative of our balance as we always wants to improve our practices while maintaining the excellence of our Cognac.” Baptiste Loiseau, Cellar Master

Presentation of the bottle

Displayed in a 35cl bottle, the design that appears on the front of the bottle is an emblematic design of the Cognac region itself which details the first names of the winegrowers alongside the Grande Champagne map. The label also features the numbering of the bottle and a QR code allowing you to pursue the experience and discover the stories of the men and women that created the blend in much further detail.

Please note: the bottle deliberately arrives without secondary packaging in an attempt to limit the carbon footprint of the product in keeping with its sustainable roots.

How to enjoy

L'étape Cognac is best enjoyed neat at room temperature. After taking the first sips, let this premium quality Cognac rest in the tulip glass for a few minutes. Next, slowly inhale and absorb the new aromas that fill your senses. This way you can appreciate all angles of the product and will be able to enjoy it for all its worth. When inhaling, close your eyes and take in the Cognac, as you focus on the senses - let your imagination run wild and the stories of its creators speak for themselves.
