Pasquet "Trésors de Famille" Le Cognac de Chantal Lot 99 is a tribute to Chantal Hillairet, a pioneering winegrower from Éraville in the heart of Grande Champagne. Her vineyard, once just a few hectares, grew to 28 hectares through decades of dedication. A forward-thinking advocate for sustainable agriculture, Chantal was among the first in the region to transition to organic viticulture in the mid-1990s—an uncommon move at the time.

Though she never distilled herself, her harvests were entrusted to Jean-Luc Pasquet, who distilled this Cognac in 1999. The result is a delicate and expressive spirit made from 100% Ugni Blanc grapes, fully organic and rooted in Grande Champagne terroir.

On the nose, this Cognac reveals a fragrant mix of citrus and floral notes: orange zest, mandarin, iris, and rose, enriched by creamy layers of vanilla, custard, brioche, and hints of exotic fruit. The palate is intense and flavorful, with dried apricot, mango, and a touch of banana bread. It finishes very long, carrying exotic fruit tones with finesse and balance.

Presentation of the bottle

This Cognac is bottled in a 500ml format, with a refined and minimalist label. The red wax seal adds a traditional touch, aligning with the artisanal and small-batch character of the spirit.

How to drink

Best enjoyed neat at room temperature to fully appreciate its complex and expressive profile. This Cognac also pairs beautifully with delicate pastries or fruit-based desserts.
