A limited edition Cognac crafted from Colombard grapes from the Premier Cru
In a fine introduction to the award-winning cognac house, the Maxime Trijol Colombard Grande Champagne is crafted exclusively from a blend of Colombard grapes from the Grande Champagne. This expression is floral and citrusy and offers the chance to discover a lesser-known grape in cognac production.
This spirit is the synthesis of over 160 years of Cognac making history and six generations of family passion. And to this day, the family oversees each step of the process from grape to glass. After harvesting these fine grapes, the Charentais method is preferred and the eaux-de-vie is twice distilled in copper pots, before resting in the French Limousin oak barrels. It is the richness and complexity of the Grande Champagne soil, as well as the maritime climate that gives this Cognac its delightfully soft and supple character.

About Maxime Trijol Cognac
With a history dating back to the mid-1800s, cognac Maxime Trijol not only produces eaux-de-vie from its own vineyards, but also purchases wine from other producers as well to be able to distil higher quantities. Five generations of family have kept the traditional methods of cognac production alive and well, and today they oversee every part of the cognac production. Because the estate purchases other distillers’ wine, they are able to produce a wide range of cognacs from a variety of growing areas in the Cognac region.
