Larsen Cognac

Larsen 90th Anniversary Tribute to Jens Reidar Limited Edition is the creaton of cellar master, Rober Andrieux.  Inspired by the young Jens Ridar Larsen - the founder of the house - it's one of two cognacs that have been produced to celebrate the 90th anniversary of this foward thinking cognac house.

Presented in a deep blue bottle that's a modern interpretation of one of the classic old bottles used by Larsen, this is a great cognac that's not only a versatile cognac to own, but also represents fabulous value for money.  Enjoy the notes of vanilla and fruits, and revel in the length of the finish with it's authentic tones of wood and warm hints of freshly baked toast.

Tasting Notes

Tasting notes by Larsen:

Fresh and fruity, wonderfully balanced by the power of accents of vanilla, candied fruit, mature fruits, marmalade, and citrus fruits.  The finish is long and supple, and ends with a slightly woody note and aromas of toast.

Esq.

Nose - I would give it 4. Certainly mature fruits and citrus fruits but could no detect vanilla.
Plate - 5 absolutely. Very, very smooth.
Finish - also 5. Lite woody note - quite long and supple.
Value for money - definitely 5 stars. Will buy it again.
Although I have been always very partial to Larsen this limited edition is definitely something special and something not too miss.
