J. Dupont Single Art Moment 1 Cognac: a Truly Stylish Single Cask

In 2018, the Boinaud family launched The Single Art Collection, a single barrel selection drawing on the family’s secret Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie reserves. J. Dupont Single Art Moment 1 intends to pay tribute to the skills of the Master Cooper and the intuition and sensitivity of the Cellar Master, showing how they work together to create unique expressions that will be here today and gone tomorrow. Each ‘Moment’ will be released only as a very limited edition of 500 decanters, each with an individual number - once they are gone, they are gone forever. 

With a cask strength of 42.3% ABV, Moment no.1 features expressive aromas of fruit from the eau-de-vie, perfectly balanced by wood and spice notes from the French oak cask it was matured in. 

Presentation of the Bottle

With their outstanding attention to detail, you can’t help but notice the Single Art bottles on a shelf. The sumptuous curved lines fo the glass lead to a slim neck, while the label features an intricate art deco-inspired design. The bottle is presented in a wooden display case rather than a box, choosing to show off the bottle rather than hide it. 

How to Enjoy J. Dupont Single Art Moment 1 Cognac

To truly appreciate this Cognac, we recommend drinking it neat from a delicate tulip glass at room temperature. The full strength of this expression is part of its charm, but feel free to add a dash of water if you like.
