Description
Hennessy XO Experience Limited Edition with Glasses Cognac
Originally created by Maurice Hennessy in 1870 for his circle of friends, Hennessy XO Experience Limited Edition Cognac represents a modern makeover for an old icon - but the contents display all the classic qualities you expect from this iconic Cognac.
The House of Hennessy specializes in distilling their eaux-de-vie without the lees for a smooth, clean palate and know how to utilize humid cellars for a steady maturation. Combined with the qualities of extended maturation, the result here is a Cognac bursting with spice, oak and leather - the hallmarks of a well-aged spirit.
The very origins of the age denotation ‘XO Extra Old’ date back to the House of Hennessy, when Master Blender Maurice coined this English term in 1870. Each of the eaux-de-vie contained within this blend are between 10 and 70 years old, and more than one hundred different components have been used to create a complex tapestry of flavor. The average age is around 45 years old, making it an exceptionally fine-tuned selection.
Presentation of the Bottle
With its glass details and curvaceous shape, the Hennessy XO decanter is still one of the most recognizable Cognacs in the world. It has been reinvented time and time again since 1870, and this limited edition has draped the entire bottle in silver. The stunning presentation case also contains two glasses.
Serving Suggestion
To enjoy this finely crafted Cognac at its best, serve as a digestif in the accompanying glasses at room temperature. It’s also the perfect pairing for desserts or a cigar.

About Hennessy Cognac
You may think, that with Hennessy’s ability to innovate and push boundaries, they are a thoroughly ‘modern’ Cognac brand. This is a large part of their immense success and influence. The very French brand based in the Charente region, in fact, dates all the way back to 1765 - to Ireland - but have managed to shapeshift enough times to remain more relevant than ever before - with current Master Blender Renaud Fillioux. Their range of uber-trendy products is ever expanding, and their marketing campaigns all the more captivating. There is no doubt that ‘Henny’ culture is alive and kicking: both Cognac and a fifth of Hennessy are mentioned in what seems like hundreds of songs.
