The Grosperrin Fins Bois N°67 Cognac is an exceptional spirit with a rich history. Stored for many years under the supervision of the Magasins Généraux, this Cognac eventually returned to its owner's cellars, interrupting the official tracking of its vintage. Originating from a family of winegrowers and merchants in the Saintes region, this Cognac is part of a limited batch made from two barrels obtained in 2006.
This Cognac has aged gracefully in a chaí, losing over 50% of its initial volume through natural evaporation, also known as the angels' share. This process has allowed it to reach its current degree of 49.3% without any special treatment or additions before bottling. The result is a pure and authentic expression of the Fins Bois terroir.
The Grosperrin Fins Bois N°67 Cognac is presented in an elegantly crafted bottle that reflects its premium quality. The design is both classic and refined, emphasizing the heritage and excellence of the liquid inside.
To fully appreciate the complexity and richness of this Cognac, it is best enjoyed neat. The nuanced flavors and aromas unfold beautifully when sipped slowly, making it an ideal choice for special occasions or moments of quiet reflection. Pairing it with a fine cigar or a selection of gourmet desserts can also enhance the tasting experience.

The independent Cognac house of Grosperrin is a relatively new one in the region, having only been established in 1999 by its founder, Jean Grosperrin. Grosperrin is based in Saintes which sits between the terroirs of Fins Bois and Borderies and it is today run by Jean’s son, Guilhelm, who took over in 2004 at just 23 years old.
Guilhelm’s mission is to discover producers all across the region in order to create truly unique Cognacs from the six crus. This vision was made possible by the fantastic relationships Jean Grosperrin built with producers, and that Guilhelm has since built on and expanded. Today, Grosperrin works with over 150 Cognac producers, from which Guilhelm will meticulously select barrels to craft into exquisite end bottles.
