나바레 크라바쉬 도르 XO 코냑은 매우 특별한 제품입니다. 평균 20년 동안 숙성된 명성 높은 프리미어 크뤼의 오드비를 블렌딩한 이 코냑은 대부분의 코냑과 달리 냉각 필터링이나 착색, 부아제 과정을 거치지 않았습니다. 캐스크에서 나온 그대로를 그대로 마실 수 있습니다.
100% 우니 블랑 포도로 만든 나바르 코냑은 마지막 남은 장인 중 한 명입니다. 잭키 나바르는 4대째 증류주를 만드는 장인으로, 곤데빌에 있는 11에이커 규모의 농장에서 포도를 재배하고 있습니다. 증류의 대가인 그는 물을 사용하지 않고 자연 증발로 코냑을 환원시키는 방식을 고수합니다.
이 크라바쉬 도르는 그랑 샴페인에서 생산되며, 그의 30리터 샤랑뜨 포트 스틸에서 증류되었습니다. 최고의 장인 기술이 집약된 제품입니다. 나바레는 마지막 남은 순수주의자 중 한 명으로, 배럴은 지하실의 습도만으로 산화됩니다. 자연에 맡겨둔 그는 놀라운 향의 깊이와 끝없이 이어지는 미각의 여운을 지닌 크라바쉬 도르와 같은 코냑을 생산합니다.
45% ABV의 자연적인 캐스크 강도로 병에 담았습니다. 병에는 곤데빌 부지의 일러스트가 그려져 있습니다. 모든 면에서 장인의 손길이 느껴집니다.
캐스크 도수 그대로 병에 담긴 코냑을 한 번도 맛본 적이 없다면 실온에서 스니퍼 글라스에 담아 깔끔하게 시음하는 것을 추천합니다. 얼음 위에 올려서 마셔보셔도 좋습니다.
Navarre lives up to the hype, in my opinion. It's always great to find a producer that isn't using any additives, but letting the cognac also naturally reduce in proof is an amazing ability. The Cravache d'Or is certainly the entry level bottle from Navarre, but that doesn't mean it's one dimensional...
Must have had a cold when the cellar master created the batch I ordered. I don't understand the impressions of the other reviewers. Very present alcohol fragrance, in the nose and mouth you can feel a woody smell or taste that is more reminiscent of a scaffolding than of wood or oak notes typical...
Another great Cognac by Navarre, though it's a spicy Grande Champagne one, not the typical premier cru Cognac. But I like that approach! Spicy, complex and a bit fruity (but only a little bit). The best from my pov: the very long finish - love it! Looking forward to tasting the other Navarre ones!
