絶妙で美しく表現された高級シャンパンブレンド、 オードリーのメモリアル・コニャックは、複雑な味とアロマのパレットで、あなたを長い熟成の旅へと誘うことでしょう。樹齢30年以下のオー・ド・ヴィと樹齢60年までのオー・ド・ヴィをブレンドしたこのコニャックは、バタークリームと松の香りを持つ希少でリッチなコニャックである。グランド・シャンパーニュとプティット・シャンパーニュのオー・ド・ヴィが複雑にブレンドされており、マスター・ブレンダーがオードリー・パラディのセラーから最も優れたものだけを選んでいることがわかる。1978年に初めて造られたこのワインには、セラーのレゼルヴ・セレクションのオー・ド・ヴィが使用されている。
コニャック地方の2つの特級クリュから造られるオードリー・メモリアルの繊細で軽く、フローラルな特徴は否定できない。これらの地域は、数百万年の化石化によって特殊な性質を持つようになったという点でユニークである。土壌はチョークを多く含み、海洋性気候の恩恵を受けているため、水はけがよく、洗練されたオー・ド・ヴィができる。その後、リムーザンとトロンセの森で採れたオークの樽で何十年も熟成させ、木のタンニンをゆっくりと浸透させ、セラーの雰囲気で酸化させる。オードリーのコニャックは、年に限られた本数しかリリースされないため、生産における品質と高い価値を重視している。
オードリーのCognacは絶妙なブレンドのバランスを追求しており、 オードリー・メモリアル・レゼルヴの製造工程は特にユニークである。銅製のアランビック・シャラント式蒸留器で蒸留する際、白鳥の首のようなパイプを使用し、ブドウから直接ブーケを抽出し、42％まで蒸留することで、オー・ド・ヴィに芳香を与える。こうすることで、テロワールの個性が尊重される。
濃くリッチなオーク樽で寝かせた後、オー・ド・ヴィはマスター・ブレンダーによってブレンドされる。瓶詰めの前に、もう一度最低2年間寝かされる。

A personal Top 10 for me. Dark mahogany, with a rich, complex nose: green pepper, apple, tobacco, roasted coffee, cocoa and rancio. The palate is full-bodied and mellow with anis, violet and licorice, closing on a honeyed, satin aftertaste that lingers. Real depth and polish.
