Description

This Revamped Rarity from Normandin-Mercier is a Golden Ticket

Normandin Mercier Grande Champagne Rare Cognac comes straight from the premier cru of the Cognac region - Grande Champagne. Solely created from eaux-de-vie from this esteemed terroir, it is of Hors d’Age quality, and slightly overproof at 42%. But the thrill doesn’t end there - this captivating cognac is rendered even more so with its brand-new look. A ravishingly revamped offering, this beautiful decanter bottle in its quaint box invites love at first sight.

Normandin-Mercier is the trading house behind Normandin Mercier Grande Champagne Rare Cognac. Founded in 1872, it is a cognac house full of passion and knowledge that today lives on through the work of Edouard, Jean-Marie and Audrey Normandin, who form a formidable family affair. Sitting amidst the beautiful surroundings of Château de la Péraudière, Normandin-Mercier produces cognacs that range from a VSOP upwards, alongside a superb collection of Pineau de Charentes.

On the nose, delicious notes of rancio and orange peel ensure that a beautiful marriage of earthiness and fruitiness is achieved, while on the palate, Normandin Mercier Grande Champagne Rare Cognac is powerful, well-rounded and boasts an exceptionally long finish. Taken neat, its luxurious lingering effect can be best appreciated.

The color of this cognac is a deep golden hue, seductively dark on the eye. This contributes to a well-aged look that perfectly suits the bottle this eau-de-vie now comes in - a decanter. With old-fashioned charm, a fresh new look and enduring elegance, this blend more than fits the bill for all those who enjoy the finer things in life.
