Description

Chateau de Montifaud Hors d'Age Cognac

The Chateau de Montifaud Hors d'Age Cognac is a truly an outstanding creation from this artisan house. Its favorable spice aromas and rancio flavors are a beautiful representation of why the Grande Champagne region is consistently seen to offer the most prestigious eaux-de-vie. Certainly one for the connoisseur, it’s an excellent selection to keep in your Cognac cabinet for the special moments.

Distilled by Cellar Master, Emile Landreau in the 1950s, the eaux-de-vie has had plenty of time to develop into its fullest expression. Such careful consideration can only be produced by Cognac houses with a sense of history behind its expertise, which is exactly what the Logis de Montifaud house boasts. Five generations of experience mean that this family-run affair optimizes tradition to produce high-class Cognacs for the connoisseurs to appreciate. Showcasing this, the Chateau de Montifaud Hors d'Age Cognac is an excellent example of what both this house and region have to offer.

Presentation of the bottle

A beautiful oval decanter conveys the history and brilliance behind this Cognac effortlessly. Stamped with a traditional sepia label and printed with sans serif type, the heritage of this house is immediately evident. A simple, sophisticated showcase, it is one that suits a place at the heart of a cognac cabinet perfectly.

How to enjoy

The rich rancio that this Cognac boasts pairs beautifully with your evening cigar. Sip it slowly to savor the age and superiority of the eaux-de-vie.
