And now again we’ve fallen under the charms of this iconic house’s Cognac with this extremely limited exclusive Hors d’Age edition, which is a blend of three different eaux-de-vie bottled at 41% abv, each orbiting at the three decade age. The eaux-de-vie come from the estate’s temperate cellars and spent 1-3 years in new Limousin oak, with a medium+ chauffe. But fascinatingly, the oak here plays only a supporting role, letting the fruit and supreme elegance of the Grande Champagne shine.
Covering fifty acres of land in the heart of Grande Champagne, Jean Fillioux Cognac is an independent, family-run estate that has been producing eaux-de-vie of high quality through five generations.
