Description
The Jacques Denis Heritage Decanter Cognac
The Jacques Denis Heritage Decanter Cognac provides an experience from the moment you set eyes on it to the last, precious sip. Presented in an elegant decanter and classic wooden presentation box, the cognac impresses the eyes, nose and palate equally. The rich, striking color of this cognac is one of the first things you notice once removing it from its box.
The bulb-like decanter with a thin neck is impressive in itself. Aged extensively inside oak barrels, the process has allowed the Cognac to develop its deep mahogany shade. Made from a blend of Grande Champagne cognacs that were harvested in the 1950s and 1960s, it's no wonder that this treat is only available in a limited edition...
The long ageing process has allowed the Cognac to naturally develop its alcohol content to 44% - something that has allowed the blend to become strong, powerful, yet subtle and elegant, just like its appearance. This is certainly a Cognac to bring out on special occasions and to be enjoyed and savoured with fellow Cognac enthusiasts…
The family-owned house of Jacques Denis Cognac provide a select range of hand produced, artisan Cognacs, made with love, tradition and a whole lot of time. Thanks to the characteristics of the pure chalk within the Grande Champagne soil, the floral and light flavours and contrasted well with the extensive ageing process of the Cognac.
Presentation of the bottle
The decanter is made to match the Cognac inside. Striking, elegant and perfect for display purposes, opening this special Cognac is an experience in itself. The 700ml decanter is short and bulb like in shape, with a thin neck perfect for serving. Not only do you receive the decanter, but an ornate wooden presentation box is also included to protect the decanter.
How to serve
A Cognac as special as this should be enjoyed on its own. After pouring, let the Cognac breathe for a few minutes and serve, savor and enjoy.
