Godet Hors d'Age Cognac Oak Barrel

Purchasing a new bottle of Cognac for your drinks rack is always a fun experience. Whether it’s a bottle or a luxury decanter, each has their own personality and place in your cabinet. But what about actually purchasing a never before released Hors d’Age Cognac and aging it in your own miniature 3 liter oak barrel? During our Cognac Week campaign it is all possible. Quantities are ultra-limited though: when it’s gone, it’s gone and it won't come back.

What about the Cognac? We’ve joined forces with Cognac Godet to put together a brand new and unreleased Hors d’Age Cognac. We call it the Godet Hors d’Age. It is a multi-cru Cognac blend containing eaux-de-vie that spans multiple centuries, with Cognac from the 21st, 20th, and 19th centuries making up the blend - although the amount of 19th century Cognac in the final blend is likely small. It’s an “beyond age” Hors d’Age by definition.

When you purchase this Godet Hors d’Age mini barrel, you will receive a 3 liter oak mini barrel and alongside a beautifully designed Godet bag in box housing the 3 liters of Cognac. Upon arrival at its new home, the Cognac is to be poured into the mini barrel, thus creating a Cognac chai in your very own home. And let’s face it, the sight of a small barrel aging a wonderfully elegant Hors d’Age from Godet will be sure to be a conversation starter.

Note: The mini barrel contains an interior liner which will dramatically slow down the aging process. Before the mini barrel reaches your doorstep, you will receive an informational document with some valuable guidance about how to continue aging your new Cognac. Since the oak barrel is a special product, the processing of orders may take longer than usual.
