Description
Francois Peyrot Heritage Coffret Cognac
The Francois Peyrot Heritage Coffret Cognac has been assembled from a selection of eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne region, also known as the Premier Cru. This is an expression that exudes style, from the understated, artisan packaging to the precious Premier Cru Cognac contained within. Matured for an average of 45 years, this release spans a generation at the distillery, reflecting the honor of handing casks down from parents to their children.
For over 20 years, the family-run House of Francois Peyrot has shunned any artificial involvement to aid or enhance the growth of their 25 hectares of vines. They have eliminated the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizer with controlled production costs and responsible management of the vineyard - all so that they can ensure that they are passing down a sustainable estate to their grandchildren and the next generation. It is this attention to detail that upholds quality from the very start of the process to the end, producing wine and Cognac the way Mother Nature intended. They may be a small producer by Cognac standards, but the House of François Peyrot is certainly setting trends far ahead of many of the more well-known producers.
Presentation of the Bottle
The vintage appearance of this bottle perfectly reflects the maturity of the liquid itself. With hand-torn edges on the label, a handwritten style and the neck dipped in black wax, the overall appearance is very artisanal and individual. The wooden presentation box has been decorated with the Francois Peyrot name as well as their signature bird emblem.
How to Enjoy Francois Peyrot Heritage Cognac
Perfect for rounding off a substantial meal to perfection, this is a Cognac to enjoy with friends. Pour into a tulip glass and wait a few moments to allow the aromas to fully open up before taking a sip. It would also make a great accompaniment to a fine Cohiba cigar.
