Description
Bel Ange Héritage Fondation Cognac
The Bel Ange Héritage Fondation 1944 Cognac is one of the rarest and most exclusive expressions in the Bel Ange portfolio. Aged for several decades and bottled at 44% ABV, this 500 ml edition represents the peak of the Lheritaud family's historical legacy. Produced in strictly limited quantity—only 444 bottles—it is a tribute to the family's foundation and four generations of viticulture and distillation in Petite Champagne.
This Cognac offers remarkable aromatic depth and a textured palate developed only through long ageing in oak. Each sip carries the memory of old cellars, vintage oak, and time itself. It is a true collector’s item and a sensory experience reserved for the most seasoned Cognac enthusiasts.
Presentation of the bottle
The Héritage 1944 is presented in a matte black 500 ml bottle with minimalist gold and white design. The front features the Bel Ange signature cherub holding a guitar, the “Fondation 1944” inscription, and a hand-numbered bottle count out of 444 units. The white wax seal underlines the rarity and artisanal nature of this ultra-limited Cognac.
How to drink
Serve neat in a wide tulip glass at 18–20 °C to allow the full evolution of aromas. This Cognac is meant to be sipped slowly, ideally in silence or with soft background music. Perfect on its own or paired with a hand-rolled cigar or old Gouda.
