Description

Introducing Dudognon Heritage Cognac which is a fine blend of exceptional eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne region, renowned for its chalky soil content and its subsequently spectacular Cognac. Delivering notes of peach, exotic fruits and pear, Heritage Cognac is a wonderfully round blend that will make you fall in love not just with the tasting experience of the delicious eaux-de-vie, but, with the brand and the hard work put in to producing such finesse over at the house of Dudognon too.

The house of Dudogne is a family of winegrowers who have been operating since 1776. Having amassed generations of knowledge about wine-growing and the distillation processes required to create Cognac - the Dudogne family represent a quietly confident Cognac house that should not be underestimated when it comes to their abilities in producing excellent quality Cognac.

Presentation of the bottle

Dudognon Heritage Cognac comes in a simplistic bottle design, with a gold embellished logo and a wax seal on the side of the bottle. Its elegant presentation compliments an equally refined eaux-de-vie contained inside the bottle. The delicate golden wiring wrapped around the bottles delciage adds a stunning finishing touch that you’ll want all of your guests to see.

How to enjoy Heritage Grande Champagne Cognac

The house of Dudognon suggests that this Cognac is to be served as a digestif. Accompanying, with a pear dessert will accentuate this Cognac’s aromas of pear and exotic fruits. Alternatively pairing with a velvety dark chocolate will compliment the spicy notes found in Heritage Cognac. Finish the tasting session with a good old fashioned cigar.

About Dudognon Cognac

The family at Maison Dudognon have been distilling Cognac since 1776. Over the centuries, their efforts have resulted in many gold medals; the current owner Claudine, as well as her father and great-grandfather, have all been recognized for their skill and brilliance. Over the generations, they have nourished and worked the soil, respecting the delicate balance of the soil to produce quality grapes. Their location in the heart of the Grande Champagne region allows them to create outstanding eaux-de-vie, using Ugni Blanc grapes as well as more traditional varieties like Folle Blanche and Montils. In the name of tradition, Claudine also swears by the use of wood-fired stills - just like her ancestors did.
