Nose: Distinctive notes of juniper alongside herbal hints of fresh coriander. Meanwhile, aromatic notes of balsamic prevail with delicateness.

Palate: The attack remains subtle as well-represented notes of juniper evolve towards the freshness of coriander and cucumber. This gin has a light structure and fills the palate with fine aromas of fruits, citrus and spices.

Finish: The finish is long with hints of lemon and lime which add a touch of bitterness alongside its freshness.

Description

Château de Montifaud Osmoz Classic Gin

With fresh and dominantly citrus flavors, Osmoz Classic Gin is an aromatic expression that evolves with fresh notes of juniper berry and a pleasant aromatic sweetness combining freshness with complexity.

The Osmoz brand’s gins have been thought to be in perfect osmosis with the Chateau de Monthifaud family roots. As like Cognac, these gins are fully developed and distilled from grapes and are totally faithful to the family’s values and appreciation of quality eaux-de-vie. Combining modernity and tradition, six distinctive aromas were selected from the Chateau de Montifaud range of Cognacs: lime, apple, liquorice, apricot, almond and clove - all of which are in both creations.

Deeply attached to the Cognac region, the Chateau de Montifaud family have been wine-growers for six generations and manage to faithfully preserve the values initiated by founder Augustin Vallet. Today the current family members consider themselves explorers and passionate taste lovers dedicated to their craft.

Presentation of the bottle

The crisp white and turquoise colour scheme of the label and branding of this bottle adds a tasteful aesthetic to your drinks cabinet in effortless style. Cool and contemporary, purchase this bottle as a thoughtful gift to a gin lover or Chateau de Montifaud enthusiast.

How to enjoy

It serves as the perfect aperitif of gin cocktail base, but we recommend enjoying it simply with quality tonic water - so as not to distract from the delectable aromas to come.

About Château de Montifaud

Owned by the family Vallet for six generations, Chateau de Montifaud Cognac boasts 125 hectares of vineyards that are located in both the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne growing regions. The house produces a large, high quality range of cognacs – including various vintages from years that have had an exceptional harvest. One family tradition that Cognac Chateau Montifaud is proud to follow, is that of when a new baby boy is born to the head of the cognac house, that part of the cognac created from that year’s harvest is set to one side. This is kept for a varying number of years, but may only be sold by future generations.
