Nose: Fresh notes of juniper are complemented by citrus aromas (orange and lemon). While balsamic and resinous nuances are harmonized by subtle hints of liquorice and fruits (apple, apricot).

Palate: The attack is very floral, supple and oily. The aromatic notes evolve towards nuances of nuts (almonds), while orange flavors are very present and bring a certain fresh bitterness. The aromatic expression evolves towards blood orange. The finish is, for its part, very pleasant, very fresh, and above all very long.

Description

Château de Montifaud Osmoz Citrus Gin

With fresh and dominantly citrus flavors, Osmoz Citrus Gin is an aromatic expression that evolves with juicy notes of blood orange. The Osmoz brand’s gins have been thought to be in perfect osmosis with the Chateau de Monthifaud family roots. Like Cognac, these gins are fully developed and distilled from grapes and are totally faithful to the family’s values and appreciation of quality eaux-de-vie. Combining modernity and tradition, six distinctive aromas were selected from the Chateau de Montifaud range of Cognacs: lime, apple, liquorice, apricot, almond and clove - all of which are in both creations.

Deeply attached to the Cognac region, the Chateau de Montifaud family have been wine-growers for six generations and manage to faithfully preserve the values initiated by founder Augustin Vallet. Today the current family members consider themselves explorers and passionate taste lovers dedicated to their craft.

Presentation of the bottle

The lilac detailing on the label work of his bottle adds an unexpected feminine touch to your drinks cabinet with effortless style. Cool and contemporary, purchase this bottle as a thoughtful gift to a gin lover or Chateau de Montifaud enthusiast.

How to enjoy

It serves as a perfect aperitif of gin cocktail base, but we recommend enjoying it simply with quality tonic water - so not to distract from the delectable aromas to come.

About Château de Montifaud

Owned by the family Vallet for six generations, Chateau de Montifaud Cognac boasts 125 hectares of vineyards that are located in both the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne growing regions. The house produces a large, high quality range of cognacs – including various vintages from years that have had an exceptional harvest. One family tradition that Cognac Chateau Montifaud is proud to follow, is that of when a new baby boy is born to the head of the cognac house, that part of the cognac created from that year’s harvest is set to one side. This is kept for a varying number of years, but may only be sold by future generations.
