Menard Red Pineau des Charentes
A unique aperitif produced in the sought after region north of Bordeaux, renowned for the creation of famous Cognac. Undergoing an expert process of blending freshly pressed grape juice, with Cognac added to prevent fermentation, the fresh and fruity aroma of the sought after grape is successfully embodied in the finish.
A wonderfully versatile blend of merlot and Cognac that offers a choice for all to enjoy. Produced by a house founded in 1815, the Menard estate embodies heritage and history remarkably. Optimising ancestral expertise, each of its creation is a fine art. No exception, the Red Pineau is a sublime selection and a credit to its renowned production.
Presentation of the bottle
A deep mahogany colour, complemented by the depth of its decor. Traditional use of brown and gold display the heritage of the house and the renowned production of the beverage beautifully. An excellent choice of gift, or centrepiece of the dining table.
How to enjoy
With its intensity and complexity, it is best enjoyed in small quantities on its own to allow the freshness of the flavour to stand out. It can also be mixed with soda or tonic to soften the punch a little. Most suited as an aperitif.
