Présentation de la bouteille
La classe orne chaque centimètre de ce grand design. Avec une présentation aussi lisse que ses eaux-de-vie, c'est une véritable représentation de la qualité. New to this ville
Color: honey On the nose: Heavy on fruits and light earthy aromas. Up front are medium and pleasant aromas of dried apricots, an assortment of berries, fresh peaches and apples. In-between are subtle and short rancio aromas of dried shiitake mushrooms, leather and something powdered and herbal....
Solid young G.C
Gold, green lights. Regular medium tears. It begins on sugary and spicy notes. A tad of rustic shades, especially on cider apple and sawdust. Caramelized pears. Nice spicy scents on nutmeg and cloves underlines by honey tones. A bit of verbena smells in the background. Apple/pear juice. Nice...
Nice intro to XO Cognacs
A young Grande Champagne for sure. Sweet fruit on the nose initially, along with some subtle spice. Not a very complex nose, but is yet appealing. The palate starts sweet, before finishing with oak spice in a dry, lingering finish. A nice intro into XO Cognacs, but with more oak on the finish...
Young Grande Champagne with a clean expression
This is a young GC, and it behaves the way you expect it to behave. It is fresh, but lacks maturity. But I appreciate the clean tastes, this is real stuff. The color is quite light, it looks young and fresh. On the nose it is quite open, here is a lot of aromas that welcome you. Here is grape juice...
Clear quality, not very outspoken
The Marancheville 10 years old is a balanced cognac with freshness and a little sweetness. Yellow fruitd, juniper berry and the nose. Pear and nectarine in the mouth. A littlr harsh at times still and with s medium long aftertaste. Not really outspoken but also no flaws.
Marancheville 10
On first nosing, I immediately smell aromas of caramel, toffee, and Werther's Original candy (basically a caramel, creamy, milky hard candy). There are fruits and spices, but for my nose they are distant behind the upfront caramel and toffee smells. So while fruit and spices are present, I would hesitate...
a nice intro into the world of XO cognac.
Marancheville 10 years old is an interesting cognac, it is not overly complex, one could even say fairly basic but its well balance and it works. If you are looking for a complex, strong XO this might not be the cognac for you but if you want an nice introduction into the world of XO, this is a great...
Toffee apple, wood, spice and fruit.
Marancheville 10 is interesting cognac. It has very sweet nose but medium dry palate. Hips of oak and toffee. Let the drink open for 10-15 min and it becomes more floral. This is not a very complex cognac, but its flavors are well balanced and elegant. I wish the finish were a bit longer, but overall,...
Straight To The Point
This Cognac has lots of sweet aromas to it like caramel, honey, and marshmallow. Overripe apples and yellow raisin add to its juicy profile. The palate shows more of a butterscotch sweetness and some milk chocolate with a bit of clove/cinnamon spice. I picked up some grassy notes of hay and mint as...
