Description
André Petit XO Très Rare Cognac
This XO Cognac is produced in the Bons Bois growth area. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 70 cl bottle, it includes eaux‑de‑vie whose average age is around 25 years.
The XO Très Rare shows many layers of flavour, thanks to its extended maturation: the nose offers notes of rancio, undergrowth and old prune, balanced by vanilla and subtle wood. On the palate it is round and smooth, letting the grape spirit’s character shine through while being enriched by oak and spice.
Presentation of the bottle
The bottle holds 70 cl, with gold detailing. The design communicates refinement and age, in keeping with the Très Rare designation.
How to drink
- Best enjoyed neat to fully appreciate its complexity and maturity.
- Also well suited as a digestif after a meal.
- A single large ice cube or a few drops of water can subtly open up flavours without dulling them.
- Store in a cool, dark place; once opened, keep the cork tight and drink within a reasonable time to retain freshness.
