Appellation (Cru) & sol: Fins Bois
Leyrat 8 Years Old Cognac
Following on the trail of the award-winning Leyrat 6 Years, the 8 Years Old version boasts a heavier and woodier character. Beautifully balanced between sweetness and spice, it has an enticing Cognac charm. Crafted with eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois region it is comprised of a fine blend. Aged for over 6 years, it is defined as a Napoleon Cognac.
Made with conscientious care, the 8 Years Cognac follows on from an award-winning Cognac and offers the same quality and consideration. Crafted from expertise and tradition that only uses fruits from a single estate it is a selection of meticulous care. Fine art from start to finish.
Presentation of the bottle
An immediate sense of tradition and history is evident at first glance. Designed with minimal color, gold font, and a black and white sketch of the Leyrat house, its old-style charm is evident through every inch of its display. Complementing the design of the 6 Year Cognac, it is displayed in the same essence, with its origins and year stamped boldly to offer a careful finish.
How to enjoy
Due to its delectably sweet opening, the 8 Years is best enjoyed on its own to appreciate its beautiful balance. Add a dash of water to allow the sweet aroma space to linger on the nose.
