Leyrat Brut de Fût Cognac is a Hors d’Age and made exclusively from eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois terroir. This is a beautiful and elegant Cognac with an expressive male character due to its 30 years of maturation in high quality Limousin oak barrels. A Cognac destined for connoisseurs.
The Cognac House Leyrat is based on the Domaine de Chez Maillard estate in the Fins Bois region of Cognac. Cognacs created here are renowned for their subtlety and power. The family who first established the house were adamant on the production of natural and clean cognacs without any added sugars. All of the grapes grown for Leyrat Cognacs are handpicked from vineyards on the estate and cultivated using organic fertilizers without chemicals.
A product that oozes quiet class. The Cognac comes in a simple, traditional shaped bottle featuring an antique style label with a wax seal and presented in a delightful wooden box.
Perfect as a digestif, accompanied with a fresh coffee and a cuban cigar.
Cognac Leyrat is part of the expansive estate owned by Francis and Elodie Abecassis, sister brand of Cognac Le Reviseur, ABK6 and Grands Domaines. Produced from the fruits of a single estate, the wines are distilled on the less in small copper stills and the eaux-de-vie matured in temperature-controlled cellars. It is this combination of traditional methods and modern technology that creates the stunning Leyrat expressions that have won awards around the world.
