Sylvelune Cuvée Ebene Collection N°1 is a luxury Hors d'Age Cognac and the oldest, most exquisite of all the expressions in the Sylvelune range. Unfortunately, very few lucky people will ever have the chance to taste this release: as a strictly limited edition, only 120 bottles have been made available worldwide. For the connoisseurs who get to try it, they will be captivated by the rich, heady fragrances offering an exquisite blend of the four seasons. Only old eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne region have been selected to craft this elixir, placed at their peak in glass demijohns in the past century after long, slow evaporation to enable their natural reduction.
As the daughter of a Cellar Master, Marianne Soupe has spent her entire life surrounded by the Cognac industry. Unsurprisingly, she has as a result developed an extraordinary palate and now dedicates herself to blending Cognacs for her own range, Sylvelune. The Cognacs sold under the Sylvelune brand are in no small way influenced by their creator being born and raised in the Cognac countryside; it was during these formative years that Soupe nurtured and honed her acute sense of smell and appreciation of different aromas. From the rarest of wild flowers to the subtly different fragrances of wood, not to mention the regular opportunities to smell the aromas of old bottles of eaux-de-vie, hers was a learning curve from birth that many Cognac aficionados would swop a bottle of their rarest and most valuable tipple to have had.
Each Sylvelune Cognac release is labelled by hand and presented in a traditional bottle encased in a wooden presentation box. Each is then numbered and comes with its own personal certification.
Each detail on the bottle highlights its premium position: from the hand-blown glass, gently curved lines and deep punt, to the gold engraved text and dripping wax seal, everything here oozes elegance. A sleek wooden box and certificate complete the package.
