An esteemed member of the Cognac de Collection, the Grosperrin Vintage 1992 Petite Champagne is a beautiful Millésime Cognac selected for its balance and wonderful snapshot of the Champagne terroir. It comes from a small farm with 12 hectares of vineyards located in Salles-de-Babezieux. The last reduction, about five years ago, opened the aromas while preserving its balance, and the aging in the wet Grosperrin cellars in the town of Cognac has provided a beautiful texture.

Age statements are still rare in the world of Cognac, but this excellent release from the House of Prunier displays its age proudly. The Prunier 20 Years Old Cognac is a limited edition, with only about 2,500 bottles produced. All the eaux-de-vie for this blend have been matured in 250-400 liter medium-toasted oak casks, resulting in a quite dry and fresh Cognac, reminiscent of the early 20th-century style.

The Vallein Tercinier XO Vieille Reserve Cognac is a delectable old blend of eaux-de-vie from the two premier growth areas of the region. It's designated as a Fine Champagne, meaning that a minimum of 50% comes from Grande Champagne, the rest from Petite Champagne. The youngest component in the blend has been aged for at least 35 years, and this has led to an extremely elegant, round, and deliciously mature taste experience. A deserving award winner, this is a great example of why small producers can provide you so much more for your money. One of the most outstanding aspects of this wonderfully old Cognac is its exceptional finish. Multi-faceted, and almost never-ending, it has to be tasted to be truly appreciated.

Conte et Filles Heritage Cognac is a Petite Champagne blend of eaux-de-vie selected from a plot in Nonaville on a southern slope renowned for its limestone, chalky soils. The eaux-de-vie has been aging in Limousin oak barrels since its distillation, making it a very old and well-matured Cognac indeed. Made from Ugni-Blanc grapes, the eaux-de-vie of this Cognac are from the reserve of the current family members grandfather, father and uncle.

Behold, a stunning example of a Fine Champagne Cognac from the Boinaud Estate. The De Luze XO Cognac is a testament to their Cognac house and features as a part of a collection of Cognacs that have recently undergone a major redesign in terms of its bottle and presentation. As an Extra Old Cognac, it is around 20 years in age, and the oldest eaux-de-vie comes from the harvest of 1980 from the family estate. This sublime Cognac was designed to encapsulate the spirit of the De Luze maison, and does everything that a good Fine Champagne Cognac should; the roundness on the palate, followed by the exceptionally long finish that never fails to impress.
