Trijol’s Premier Cru Masterpiece: Maxime Trijol Extra Cognac from Grande Champagne
Maxime Trijol may be a small, artisan Cognac house, but they occupy one of the most enviable positions in the Premier Cru of the Cognac region. The Maxime Trijol Extra Grande Champagne Cognac is testament to their international renown and ability to produce award-winning eaux-de-vie. Presented in a stunning decanter and presentation box, this is the perfect Cognac for any collector.
Made using Ugni Blanc grapes grown exclusively in Grande Champagne cru, the most premium growth area of Cognac, this XO expression has benefited from the calcareous soil, undulating hills and sunny climate of this respected terroir. This is where you'll find the perfect conditions for growing fruitful vines, expressing refined floral notes and an everlasting finish on the palate. Such are the criteria of a classic Grande Champagne Cognac. Having set up their first copper still in 1859, the House of Maxime Trijol has been producing mouth-watering eaux-de-vie for over 150 years. They are currently managed by their fifth-generation Director Jean-Jacques Trijol, accompanied by his two daughters, Pauline and Anne-Sophie.
