Trijol’s Premier Cru Masterpiece: The Maxime Trijol Extra Cognac from the Grande Champagne
Maxime Trijol may be a small, artisan Cognac house. But they occupy one of the most enviable positions in the Premier Cru of the Cognac region. The Maxime Trijol Extra Grande Champagne Cognac is testament to their international renown, and ability to produce award winning eaux-de-vie. Presented in a stunning decanter and presentation box, it is a Cognac fit for a collector.
Planted in Ugni Blanc grapes, this XO Cognac has been made using grapes grown exclusively in the most premium growth area of Cognac, due to its calcareous soil, undulating hills and maritime climate.
These are the perfect conditions for growing fruitful vines, with a refined, floral taste and everlasting finish on the palate. Such are the criteria of a stunning Grande Champagne Cognac. Having set up their first distilling still in 1859, the House have been producing mouth watering bottles for over five generations. They are currently managed by their fifth generation, Jean-Jacques Trijol.

About Maxime Trijol Cognac
With a history dating back to the mid-1800s, cognac Maxime Trijol not only produces eaux-de-vie from its own vineyards, but also purchases wine from other producers as well to be able to distil higher quantities. Five generations of family have kept the traditional methods of cognac production alive and well, and today they oversee every part of the cognac production. Because the estate purchases other distillers’ wine, they are able to produce a wide range of cognacs from a variety of growing areas in the Cognac region.
