Description
A 50-year-old Extra Cognac from the Petite Champagne
Created on an estate that straddles the Fins Bois and Petite Champagne, La Grange du Bois bring us a Cognac that has been aged for half a century - La Grange du Bois Petite Champagne Extra Cognac. Its eaux-de-vie are some of the oldest and rarest in their cellar, reaching up to 50 years in age.
It is presented in a luxury decanter and is made entirely from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in the Petite Champagne. The limestone-rich soil that is topped with clay and chalk creates a very fine Cognac indeed. Until 1996, the producers at La Grange du Bois harvested their grapes manually. Since then, harvester machinery took over, which was perfectly adapted to the needs of the region and its growers. Distillation has taken place at the estate since 1727.
