De Luze Extra Cognac
The multi-award winning Cognac from the Boinaud Estate will take you on a journey to both the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne terroirs. The De Luze Extra Fine Champagne Cognac does just as its name suggests; this is an “extra” quality offering, which means that each eau-de-vie within the blend has been aged to true perfection over the course of many years. The average Extra Cognac has been aged for at least 30 years. The finished product is smooth, refined and yet powerful; providing the taster with some of the more unusual flavors and aromas which can only be discovered in such a well-matured Cognac. This Cognac will certainly transport you on a journey across the most highly coveted crus in the region. The Fine Champagne blend has been assembled with the utmost care and respect given to the Cognac maison and its values and its humble beginnings in the vineyard. Some of the more unique sensory delights include those of fresh hazelnuts, cigar box, and narcissus. And if you're looking for a Cognac that truly shows you how long a taste sensation can linger, than this is definitely one to try.

A full embrace...
This is a beautifully balanced cognac. Its intense nose gives way to a round, elegant palate. The interplay of dark fruit, wood and floral spiced notes make this a wonderfully rewarding, supple blend. Although this is cognac is thick and full bodied, its finish is smooth and lingering. Even some of the bold, big-four, well-aged and well-known cognacs depart with a touch of harshness. (You know who you are.) Not so here; this one leaves on a velvet cloud. Love its style. Pairs quite well with dark chocolate.
The dedication and expertise of the Boinaud family, from vineyard to glass, (including the difficult on-the-lees distillation) make this an exceptional cognac, and a personal favorite.
About De Luze Cognac
The cognac house has a uniquely interesting history, with the origins of the company in New York! Two brothers set off to find success in the New World in the early 19th century. And they did. De Luze is still a successful business with 410 hectares of vineyards in the prime growing area of Cognac. Their philosophy is to create a natural cognac with an elegant and light taste and colour.
