Another great Cognac by Navarre, though it's a spicy Grande Champagne one, not the typical premier cru Cognac. But I like that approach! Spicy, complex and a bit fruity (but only a little bit). The best from my pov: the very long finish - love it! Looking forward to tasting the other Navarre ones!

First sip on the mouth was quite spicy, but shortly after fruity (and a bit of woody) aromas appear. There are more balanced XOs out there, but the fruitiness makes it interesting - not my absolute favorite XO - solid!

Already the first nose convinced me, complex: at first woody, later also fruity flavors appear on the nose. The taste is great, woody aromas continues followed by a long and excellent aftertaste. I'm usually comparing Cognacs in a tasting against the De Luze XO which I really appreciate. Paul ...
