COGNAC PAUL GIRAUD & Fils es una propiedad familiar situada en Bouteville, un pequeño pueblo en el corazón de la Grande Champagne, el primer cru de Cognac. La propiedad ha pasado de padres a hijos desde 1635. Paul Jean Giraud, nacido en 1952, es la décima generación al frente del dominio. En 1975, Paul Jean y su padre fundaron Cognac Paul Giraud, y la marca se estableció en 1976 con el inicio del embotellado. Durante cinco años, Paul Jean desarrolló sus ventas en Francia antes de empezar a exportar en 1980.
