Surely one of the best Armagnac for this price. Smooth but refreshing and complex. Long lasting aftertaste. My favourit so far. I am usually more of a whisky drinker but I cannot find vintage drams for this price, this 25 years aged Armagnac made my day.

Inviting, cooling nose of sandalwood, ylang-ylang and mace. The palate is beautifully balanced, with tannic oak, longan, sandalwood, bitter cinnamon competing for attention. The finish is of medium length. A lovely cognac, strongly recommended.

Nose is shy but suggests of dry oak spice and prunes. In the mouth, there is minerality of youth juxtaposed with drying oak spice, eucalyptus, violet, and prune. This Armagnac is not mature and it drinks a bit hot for its proof.
