Cuando Roland Bru se instaló en la región de Cognac en 1960, adquirió una propiedad emblemática a orillas del río Charente, clave en la historia del comercio del Cognac. Reconstruyó y amplió la Distillerie des Moisans, dotándola del equipamiento que la convierte en un productor excepcional de coñac fino.
Hoy en día, Cognac Mo isans abarca 30 hectáreas de viñedos en Fins Bois, con un 95% de su viñedo de la variedad Ugni Blanc.
Tras tres generaciones en la familia Bru Legaret, todo el proceso de elaboración, desde la destilación hasta el envejecimiento, el embotellado y la comercialización, tiene lugar en esta pequeña e histórica aldea.
