Nose was consistent to an aged cognac with candied fruits with a hint of caramel and rancio. A pleasant palate of fruits of guava, papaya and ripe melon. A nice medium finish without any harsh bitterness or unpleasantries. A great expression of an XO for a very reasonable price.

Amber colour. Dried plums, dates, earthy, mushrooms, rancio, dirty fruit notes - slightly rustic but interesting. Overripe fruits on the palate, rancio, earthy, chocolate and caramel on the palate. The finish is medium long, earthy again, mature and rustic in a pleasant way.
