Beschreibung
Légier XO Grande Champagne Cognac: Aromatic excellence
Premier Cru Cognacs don’t come much better than this, boasting the rich complexity so typical of the terroir. XO in quality, each eau-de-vie within the blend has spent a minimum of a decade maturing to perfection within limousin oak barrels. This is a Cognac designed to take the connoisseur on a voyage of exploration, relishing in the mature tones and depth of character only found in an expertly crafted masterpiece.
The house of Légier benefits from four generations of wine growers, with the secrets and savoir-faire passed down being wholly evident in the quality of Cognacs they produce. When you sip this excellent XO you do so in the knowledge that you’re enjoying the fruits of vines that were planted decades—even centuries ago, each nurtured by a family who’ve been committed to the concept of sustainability long before it became the key environmental concept that we know today
Presentation of the Bottle
With its sleek curves and contemporary lines it’s clear that a great deal of thought has gone into the presentation of this quality XO. In addition to its good looks you can purchase safe in the knowledge that Légier Cognac’s sustainability commitment extends from the vines to every element of packaging. This extents right down to aspects such as the adhesives used to attach the delightfully simplistic labels to the bottle.
How to enjoy
Such a Cognac demands to be enjoyed in the most classic of manners. For the traditionalist this might mean from a bottle stored at room temperature, perhaps gently warmed in the hand for a few minutes as the aromas gently rise to the top of the glass. We also advocate experimentation to complement your tasting enjoyment. Perhaps drop in a large block of ice or, for the truly adventurous, place the bottle in the freezer and enjoy icy cold!
