A limited edition Vintage 1968 Cognac from the Petite Champagne terroir
The Maxime Trijol Vintage 1968 Cognac is a sumptuous celebration of the single, slow-ripened harvest of 1968 and of the rich Santonian soil known to the Petite Champagne cru. Aged for 39 years, each individually numbered Millésime has undergone a meticulous creation process, certified by the Bureau National Interprofessional du Cognac authorities to deliver the utmost quality.
The result is an exceptional spirit boasting deep copper tones and intensely fruity aromas, which give way to lighter floral notes and a distinctly silky finish. It’s no wonder that this Vintage has been decorated with two awards, in keeping with the House’s prestigious cognac collections.
The Petite Champagne is the second part of the Fine Champagne Cognac area, and is known for chalky soil that produces fine eaux-de-vie, takes longer to mature but is worth the wait.

Über Maxime Trijol Cognac
With a history dating back to the mid-1800s, cognac Maxime Trijol not only produces eaux-de-vie from its own vineyards, but also purchases wine from other producers as well to be able to distil higher quantities. Five generations of family have kept the traditional methods of cognac production alive and well, and today they oversee every part of the cognac production. Because the estate purchases other distillers’ wine, they are able to produce a wide range of cognacs from a variety of growing areas in the Cognac region.
