Old gold, with subtle hints of amber.


Marked by gourmet notes of sweetness through ripe quetsch, mirabelle plums. Balanced with spice cardamom, tumeric, black pepper. Notes of exotic woods, warm cedar and sandalwood linger in the background with fine characteristics of rancio to finish.


The fruity delicacy embodies through ripe plum, prune, chocolate and cinnamon. Complemented by spicy notes of nutmeg and tobacco.

Grosperrin Millesime 1973 is a Petite Champagne vintage from an artisan cognac house. Marked with gourmet notes that are a beautiful balance between sweet and spice. Boasting favourable rancio flavour, the essence of its age creates a charming Cognac with character and flair.

Born from a house dedicated to the selection and to the lélevage of old Cognac’s, there is undeniable expertise in every creation. With the objective of producing Cognac’s with an exceptional heritage, each bottle is stamped with unwavering brilliance. No exception to that, the 1973 embodies brilliance with its old Cognac essence and sweet and spice compliments.

Beautifully presented in a traditional style bottle that expertly conveys its tradition and impressive heritage. With a simplistic style and swirl type, its history is evident at first glance. A stylish cork and wooden top offer a finish that encapsulates brilliance effortlessly.

Über Grosperrin Cognac

The independent Cognac house of Grosperrin is a relatively new one in the region, having only been established in 1999 by its founder, Jean Grosperrin. Grosperrin is based in Saintes which sits between the terroirs of Fins Bois and Borderies and it is today run by Jean’s son, Guilhelm, who took over in 2004 at just 23 years old.

Guilhelm’s mission is to discover producers all across the region in order to create truly unique Cognacs from the six crus. This vision was made possible by the fantastic relationships Jean Grosperrin built with producers, and that Guilhelm has since built on and expanded. Today, Grosperrin works with over 150 Cognac producers, from which Guilhelm will meticulously select barrels to craft into exquisite end bottles.
