Im Herzen von Cognacs Premium Anbaugegend Grande Champagne bringt das Haus Hine seit sechs Generationen exquisite Cognac Kreationen hervor. In damaligen Zeiten kannte man es vielmehr unter dem Namen T Hine & Co Cognac. Das Anwesen kann bewundernswerte, 70 Hektar große Weinfelder sein Eigen nennen. Die Herstellung relativ überschaubarer, aber hochwertiger Mengen erfolgt nach sehr speziellen Methoden. Zum Beispiel bewahren sie ihre Vintage Fässer in der englischen Stadt Bristol auf, wo sie sich in feuchten Kellern ausruhen. Unter solchen Umständen durchläuft der Thomas Hine Cognac einen ganz individuellen Reifeprozess. Die Feuchtigkeit der Seestadt unterscheidet sich vom Klima der französischen Südwestküste.
