Cask strength is too high at 50. Such hi alcohol content does not benefit the palate. Nose is very flowery, highly similar to desert wine (Sauternes). Taste is fully dominated by sweet flowery palate. Very little in a way of layered taste that is so present in other vintages. Very little rancino, just slight hints in the aftertaste. It reminded me of lighter alco. Normandin Mercier Cognac I have had years ago. It is simply flowery sweet , full stop. IMHO, it is not worth your time even at 1/3 of its price. It is simply uninteresting liquor.
