The Brard-Blanchard Pineau des Charentes Blanc - NV represents a traditional fortified wine from the esteemed Cognac region of France. Produced by Brard-Blanchard, this expression showcases the unique character derived from a blend of local grape varieties, carefully prepared to offer a distinct aromatic and flavorful profile.
This Pineau Blanc is crafted from a blend comprising 40% Ugni Blanc, 40% Colombard, and 20% Montils grapes. Following the harvest, Eau-de-Vie de Cognac is added in a proportion of one-quarter. The resulting "liqueur" undergoes aging in tank throughout the winter, allowing for natural clarification. This is succeeded by a period of three years of aging in barrels that have been used for at least seven years, contributing to its complexity before a light filtration prior to bottling.
Presented in a standard 750 ml bottle, this Non-Vintage Pineau des Charentes Blanc offers an authentic experience from the Brard-Blanchard estate.
